Loftware NiceLabel On Premise Subscription software packages are installed on physical PCs and servers and all data pertaining to label designs is stored on premise, rather than a web browser with data stored in the Cloud and users can access a central database of label files, images and fonts to ensure that all users print the same labels.
All NiceLabel software packages are multi-user and are licensed per printer on a one year subscription basis, which includes standard support and maintenance with the option of access to the Loftware Academy, which provides users with an online training facility and certifications that can be completed in their own time.

NiceLabel Designer is the design element of all NiceLabel on premise products and provides an easy-to-use, intuitive design and print application for users to create barcoded labels and documents. Create bespoke labels or use predefined label templates to comply with industry standards and link directly with your data source, to ensure information is always correct and the risk of errors is removed.
Designer Pro is a multi-user license, which is printer rather than user based, meaning that the designer can be installed on as many PCs as required but they can collectively only print to an agreed number of printers, with label templates, images and databases in a centralised location to ensure that all users have access to the correct information.
NiceLabel Designer automatically positions, aligns, word wraps or adjusts the font size of your text to ensure your dynamic data fits into the designated area. Intelligent features like relative object positioning, variable label length and double-sided printing help reduce the number of template variations you need to create.
With NiceLabel Designer, you don’t have to design different labels for different printer models. Our label templates are universal. You can use the same template with any printer brand or model, even if they have different resolutions. So, no matter which printer you use (thermal printers, RFID printers, laser and inkjet printers), you get the same label every time – and the best printer performance.
NiceLabel PowerForms offers users all of the design and label printing capabilities of Designer with the added functionality of automated printing, SQL and more complex ERP database integration and operator data entry forms, to eliminate errors and increase productivity.
PowerForm's application builder removes the need for programmers to develop their own custom printing front-end or integration applications, which are difficult and costly to maintain. Using the builder, you can rapidly create a printing application via a “drag and drop” interface, making designing an application as easy as designing a label. Data entry forms used for printing are automatically built for you, as you design labels and the application builder allows you to customise these forms to fit your company’s workflows and requirements, with the option to build applications for data entry or management.
With PowerForm's “all-on-one” printing form, the user always knows what data changes are required before printing, significantly reducing the likelihood of errors. All data-entry fields are clearly listed together, so the user doesn't need to switch between dialogue boxes to know exactly what data needs to be entered and if the label changes, the data-entry fields adapt automatically.
PowerForm's business rules engine allows print requests to be dynamically changed based on business logic applied to dynamic data. By processing the data, the business rules engine can select the applicable workflow to run and execute the logic to perform e.g. requesting data from additional data sources, manipulating and modifying label data, setting attributes, selecting one or many label templates, targeting specific printers, and executing additional workflows.
NiceLabel LMS is aimed at larger enterprises where multiple employees design and print labels for the business. It includes all of the design functionality of Designer and the integration and automation features of PowerForms, but includes a Control Center and Document Management System offering a fully controlled and managed label printing solution, particularly important for companies operating in regulated environments.

The DMS includes a label compare feature that automatically compares two label revisions and highlights the differences, helping reviewers to quickly identify even minor changes and giving organisations a higher level of quality control. Make label changes in a test environment and preview these changes before they go live in the production environment. This protects the core label data and ensures no unchecked changes are published in the live database. Administrators get full control over how and when changes are published to make sure the information is correct every time.

LMS's history feature keeps a graphical view and data record for every label ever printed across your entire organisation, recording all system errors, events and alerts. It provides the necessary audit trails and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements and the reports feature gives you the information you need to improve and fine-tune your production processes and compare the workload across servers, users and printers.
Quality management systems and regulatory agencies often require comprehensive documentation and audit trails regarding your labelling processes. Role-based access control (RBAC) regulates access to documents and resources based on the roles of individual users.
